DUDE, YES! Hey, hi, hello. I too am awkward AF! I have been doing this for 13 years now and I can, with confidence say: I gotchuuuu! I will style your outfits AND pose you 100%! Your whole job is to show up with your hair + makeup completed and outfits thrown into a bag. I’ll do the rest, you just hang out, feel delicious, jam to Beyonce with me, and let me take some kick ass photos!
✨ HELP – IDK HOW TO PREPARE FOR MY SESSION ONCE I BOOK! ✨
Your confirmation email will have SO much info – dos and don’ts, outfit ideas, address, our photography contract, my amazon faves for lingerie, my contact info, etc! Hair and makeup recommendations are simple: however you’d go out to brunch with your besties is how most people show up to their sessions! If you want to go with pro hair + makeup that’s absolutely fabulous too! Do what makes YOU feel comfy and confident!
✨ DO YOU SHARE THE IMAGES FROM OUR SESSION? ✨
Hell to the noooooo, never ever unless you sign a model release agreement! You don’t just have to take my word for it, in our photography agreement I require clients to sign before our session – it spells out alllll the things INCLUDING that I don’t share your images anywhere, not even in person, with anyone! That can be found in the confirmation email I send over.
✨ SO, UHM. LET’S TALK MONEY. CAN I PAY A LITTLE BIT ALONG OR EVEN PAY OFF THE BALANCE AFTER MY SESSION?? ✨
Yes, you absolutely can! I am flexible – the majority of my clients send payments in the months/weeks leading up to their session so they aren’t stuck with a large bill at once so that totally works for me! If you want to pay your balance off AFTER your session that’s also fine, just know your images will not be sent over until after your balance is paid in full and there’s an additional $50 fee added onto this to help keep you accountable. You will have a maximum of 6 months from the day of your session to pay your remaining balance (this requires a contract, of course). You are also welcome to change your mind about how you’d like to pay! Like I said, I’m flexible!
✨ DO I HAVE TO PAY A DEPOSIT/RETAINER? IF SO, HOW MUCH IS IT? ✨
Yes, I do require a retainer upon booking – your session is NOT confirmed without this payment. This is paid through invoice (credit/debit card), my business Venmo account, or my business PayPal account. Your retainer is deducted from your package cost, it’s not an additional fee. The retainer is non-refundable and nontransferable for cancellations but I do make exceptions, aka if you need to reschedule it’s possible but there are stipulations outlined in your contract. 50% of the total cost of your session including sales tax is required to secure your date/time.
✨ WHERE DO I GO FOR MY BOUDOIR SESSION? ✨
I choose a unique location (usually Airbnb that allows for commercial photography) for all of my sessions. I rarely utilize the same location twice soooo if you like the vibe of a space I likely won’t be back there so you’ll want to jump on the opportunity while you can! You’ll see photos of the spaces on my KY or NC pages.
✨ HOW MODEST/SPICY SHOULD I EXPECT TO BE? ✨
Your comfort and safety are top priority for me, babe you can wear a literal ball gown for all I care. No but really, if you’d like to be in a comfy tee and underwear, I support this, if you want to be butt ass naked, go for it! I’m here to gently push you out of your comfort zone while also respecting your boundaries. I have worked with everyone from every profession mega church pastors and their spouses to teachers, SAHMs, doctors, models, sex workers and everyone in between! My job is to empower you, help you feel like the most delicious human that’s ever existed!
✨ WHAT IF I HAVE TO CANCEL/RESCHEDULE? ✨
Rescheduling is a pain in the ass, there, I said it! I get it though, life happens… If we need to reschedule I will TRY to accommodate your schedule but there are no guarantees as my boudoir openings fill up quickly. If you cancel or no show, your retainer is forfeited and will need to be paid AGAIN if you choose to book with me in the future. Please make doubly sure that you can make the date/time you select or you forfeit your 50% retainer. There are very few exceptions to this policy, just reach out if anything changes!
✨ COUPLES/SPICY FRIENDS SESSIONS ✨
If you’re doing a 1 hours session typically 2/3 of the time to go towards couples photos and 1/3 towards individual photos but it’s your time and we can split it however you’d like! Usually people prefer to book a 2 hour session for these but we can get tons of amazing shots in 1 hour – I promise!
✨ HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE TO RECEIVE OUR GALLERY/HOW MANY PHOTOS DO WE GET? ✨
Up to 3 BUSINESS weeks (21 business days) unless otherwise specified – all digital images are edited in color and black + white for all sessions and delivered via an online, password protected gallery through CloudSpot. AKA Monday-Friday (5 biz days), just like most businesses even though I work for myself and see clients on the weekends/holidays, I’m not doing admin work like editing, emails, etc on the weekends/holidays. Work/life balance, ya know? You receive ALL of your photos from the session other than the few that are blurry, random shots of the floor I accidentally took, a billion duplicates – honestly you’re going to receive way too many… Sorry? idk. You can print them anywhere you’d like but I send my fave spots for albums and prints and are all online and very affordable AND good quality!
✨ SHOULD I GET A SPRAY TAN? ✨
If you regularly get spray tans then hell yeah, live your best life! Do NOT come to your session with a fresh spray tan that will ruin my linens plz + ty. If you have never gotten one before I don’t recommend it. If you have weird streaks, orange hands/feet, or badly blended areas – these are NOT things I edit out so keep that in mind. It’s the same with tan lines from the sun – they’ll be blended slightly but not fully. Scratches, bruises, marks, butt pimples, etc will be edited out fully though!
✨ DO YOU SUGGEST I GET A… YA KNOW… WAX? ✨
If you regularly get waxed then, yes. If not, now is NOT the time to experiement! Razor bumps suck but are not going to be seen in your photos through strategic posing AND editing. Also a big supporter of not shaving/waxing at all if that’s your vibe – body hair is normal and doesn’t make you any less delicious! It’s personal preference! 🫶🏻
✨ DO I BRING MY OWN OUTFITS OR DO YOU PROVIDE THEM? ✨
You are responsible for providing your outfits BUT bestie, I’m obviously not letting you fly blind. I will send you my fave amazon pieces that are affordable and photograph beautifully and my Pinterest board to help you narrow down things you have in your own house! We can go through as many as we’re able during your session, typically 30 min = 2-4 outfits, 1 hour = 5-7 and 2 hours = 7+ but the time is yours and I’m wildly efficient!
✨ CAN YOU EDIT OUT *insert whatever your biggest worry is regarding your body here*? ✨
Soooo, fun fact: I’m pretty fucking fantastic at posing ALL bodies soooo rest assured that I gotchu babe. Also humble, I’m also obviously very humble. 💅🏻 Body modifications like adding a lil somthin’ extra to your chest or booty cheeks or doing insane skin smoothing are definitely not something I offer because I’m THAT good at posing and utilizing/creating kick ass lighting situations. I give cheeks to the cheekless and cleavage to the cleavageless! I’ll make sure posing is perfect from the top of your head to your toes! Alsooooo, I show my clients the back of my camera – literally EVERY. SINGLE. SHOT. before they change outfits so you can see the magic we’re currently creating vs waiting for the final gallery to be edited. You’ll see how insanely fabulous the shots are straight out of camera before any type of editing and your mind will be put at ease. I guarantee it, seriously. Ya girl has been doing this for 12+ years and I’ve worked with thousands of amazing humans of all different body types, ages, etc. I will remove anything that’s temporary: pimples, bruises, and scratches – I’ll also ask you if you have any birthmarks, freckles that might look like a butt pimple, or scars that you want left in/out during your session. Your skin will be gently smoothed and you’ll obviously look like the baddest bitch in the world, because, duh you are.
✨ BUSINESS BOUNDARIES THAT ARE NON-NEGOTIABLE + VERY IMPORTANT INFO ✨
-Partial and full nudity are allowed and I work with individuals as well as couples.
-You can totally book back to back sessions with your besties, just let me know in advance so I can schedule them properly! Two options: we can shoot simultaneously like person 1 takes some photos while person 2 is changing then switchhhhh or we can do person 1 full session while person 2 hangs out with us or away from us then switch!
–All people are welcome and loved in my presence, if you are racist, bigoted, or just a hateful person please do not book a session with me – we won’t get along.
–No sexual acts or implied sexual acts during your session, lightly implied like you’ve seen on my site + socials is fine! I am licensed to photograph boudoir not porn, my business insurance also does not cover me (or you) if I shoot anything other than what my licensing covers.
-No sending photos of yourself or others at any time without you asking and me consenting, I have a posing flow that I do for my individual and couples clients. If you have inspo show me day of your session, I’m of course happy to take a peek then!!
-If you say or do anything inappropriate before or during your session you will be fired as a client and retained payment forfeited. It takes a lot for me to feel uncomfy but if I do, you’re out.
