This weekend started off with my sweet girl’s birthday/gotcha day and ended with a relaxed date day with my main squeeze!
If you would’ve told me a year ago that I would have a dog let alone TWO I would’ve told you you were out of your mind! But Misha had other plans! Last year on this exact date she showed up on our front porch needing a home. Seriously, go look at my insta stories and you’ll see the photo from her ringing our doorbell in our @ring camera! Nearly 4 hours trying to catch this girl with multiple animal control officers later she was no where to be found. She barked in front of our house all night, the next morning she fairly willingly came into our back yard. A short five weeks later we find out that she’s very, very pregnant! We had a week to prepare for these puppies. Misha had six fat and happy puppies with zero complications or deaths. Our little troll not only came to us pregnant but delivered them THE DAY SHE WAS SCHEDULED TO BE SPAYED! 🙃
Fast forward an entire year and I couldn’t imagine my life without her and her sweet puppy Freyja!
Each week Aaron and I try to have at least 1/2 a day to ourselves without work, our doggos or appointments! Let me tell you what, it’s a difficult task to schedule out self-care time. What we typically end up doing it grabbing brunch or lunch, coffee, and do a bit of window shopping then finish off with a trip to the grocery store. Sounds super boring, I know – trust me, it’s a lot more fun than it sounds!

Aww congratulations on your gotcha day! You can tell what a passionate business coach you are – it always makes it that much harder to take the time for your self, but I’m glad you prioritize it!
